#1 darth_olsinus Apr 10, 2009 14:31:54	I know that somewhere I have seen a description of the game effects of reading one of the nether scrolls. Can someone please refresh my memory as to what book that was in? I know that there are discriptions of the nether scrolls in both the old box sets pertaining to Cormanthyr and Ancient Netheril, but this was an actual description of the in game effects of reading one of the scrolls. I believe it was an immeadiate level gain and a bonus to a particular area of arcane knowledge that the scroll covered. Thanks
#2 lord_karsus Apr 10, 2009 14:52:56	-Netheril: Empire of Magic, which can be downloaded for free as a .PDF file from the WotC website has the most in-depth information about the Nether Scrolls. Lost Empires of Faerûn, a more recent and contemporary source, has the information about the Nether Scrolls, and how they affect your character. The novel The Nether Scrolls contains a scene where the character(s?) read one of the Nether Scrolls, and as such, text that describes what the character(s?) felt, what the character(s?) saw, and so on.
