Well, since your signature occupies the major part of this thread, I'm using this to remind you, LK, that you haven't updated your signature yet :P

Nevermind? :embarrass

First Law, first corollary: Matter and energy are indestructable,
but if you don't have the energy it hardly matters!

Second Law, first corollary: All machines run down eventually,
unless they don't!

Third Law, first corollary: Less is more,
except when applied to liquor and sleep and how far you fall!

But the long history of Mount Nevermind had followed its own version of the Second Law of Speculative Dynamics.

Lord Karsus always has a hyphen before his sentences.

Wow. He says one word, and it gets this many respones. Impressive. Truly, it isn't hard to see how an entire spell could cause that whole "fall of netheril" calamity.

I still don't know what the point of this thread is or why it hasn't been moved to the general section.

Lord Karsus always has a hyphen before his sentences.

I asked Lord Karsus about that when he was helping me figure some of this messageboard stuff out when I first joined. He told me that he does that because there isn't an indent feature and that he does the dash to represent an indentation and the beginning of his paragraphs.

Actually, there is an indent feature... but it probably indents too far and does it for the entire paragraph (unlike true "indent", it's what we get here and it really should be called "inline" or "tab"). Like this:
potatoes
candy
applesauce
Note that if you look at the above in the edit/reply mode, you'll see that it calls itself "indent", but it's really an "inline" or "tab" function, with respect to real definitions. Mainly because when you start a new line, it keeps the text "in line" with the 1st line's indent.

LK probably wants true "indent", but the non-breaking space " " html code doesn't work on this board.

-Geeze...You know, when I had an actual question, nobody felt like replying, but when I work it out myself, and don't have use for the thread anymore, then, suddenly, everyone comes crawling out of the woodwork...:P

-Oh, geeze, you're right! Thank you for mentioning that!

-Alright, one good thing has come out of this rambling, then!

-Right. The indent feature on these boards squishes both left and right margins, for the entire paragraph. I don't want that. Thus, I use the dash. And, if anything else, it makes me unique, as no one else does that.
