Does anyone know if Neverwinter Nights was ported by anyone into a PnP campaign/adventure?

I doubt it.
Although, in retrospect Path of Ascension would have made a pretty decent Ravenloft campaign.

I would love it if some did that, especially the Hordes of the Underdark module.

(first post in... a year?)

Isn't Neverwinter just a city in the Realms?

-Yes, yes it is. And, I am going to request that this thread be moved to the Running the Realms section, where other DMs who play in the Forgotten Realms might be able to share anything they've done with the city.

-From what I remember, stats and stuff from Neverwinter Nights were more or less 3e. So, stats from the game can easily be transcribed.

There might have been a references to the games that snuck into official lore here and there. I can only think of the aspect of Mephistopheles that was said to be in Undermountain (the FC2 WE I think).

-AGHotR confirms into canon that the Wailing Plague (I believe that was what it was called) swept through Neverwinter.

And also, that there was once a Netherese Enclave called "Undrentide".

-Oh, yeah, right, right, thanks for reminding me.

-The map of Netheril in AGHotR makes Undrentide a canon location, by including it as a Netherese Enclave.

It isn't JUST a city in the Realms. It is also a famouse computer game.

Speaking of which, LK, have you ever played NWN 1 or 2?

-The first game, with the expansion packs. I beat the original, and the first expansion, but not the second. The second game, I have, but my computer doesn't have the proper requirements, and it crashes when I started it up. I always got as far as my Sun Elf character speaking to his father, or something like that, in a library-like room.

What a bummer. Just in case you ever get it to work, I won't spoil the ending of the original or the expansion.:D

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to re-make the original Neverwinter Night game into a PnP game, it would be fairly simple. First you'd have to decide what level your PCs are going to be and then scale it up accordingly. I'd probably start out at level 2 or 3 and then go from there. The easiest way to convert it would be to grab the game guide so you know who and when to fight certain enemies and the layout of the dungeons. From there it's simple, time consuming conversion.
