I do keep a Word document for the NCPs I use in LFR adventures that I am involved with (Dalelands and a few others).
They are of a format akin to:

But I guess that is too extensive (esp if you want to avoid runing into copyright issues - I can publish info as above on the WotC wiki, but not anywhere else).

I doubt the James Bros can pull off a proper RSE, one with gods walking the earth (again) and blowing up Toril (again), and 1st level adventurers stopping them at the very last miniutes (again), without also requiring a new D&D edition... again.

I had a teensy smidgeon of hope that this "major RSE in a new novel" would be the announcement of a story where several heroes go back in time, prevent the entire spellplague, and events unfold where Mystra lives, Cyric dies, and this whole ridiculous emphasis on Shar, aberrations, and dragonborn can be forgotten as easily as a faulty memory.
Oh well. Back to playing Conan d20, I guess.
