Has the official year of 5E Forgotten Realms been announced? I'm curious how many years they're jumping from 4E...

Right now it looks like only a few years if you read the Sundering novels. Nothing huge, but still about 110~115 years post 3.5 realms.

Back when the Sundering was first announced, they said that they wanted to avoid doing another large time leap, and so they hoped to keep things as close to the 1480s DR as possible.
