Anyways, I have managed to narrow the location of Lyonsbane Keep down to somewhere in the Western Heartlands. It is also in or near a forest. Where would it be? I searched through every written lore about Kelemvor. I even went to the learned sages of Candlekeep. Anyone know?
I ask because in a 4E-gotten Realms game that is starting soon, my cleric will be a scion of the Lyonsbane bloodline, through Kelemvor's uncles and cousins. The only link to the past is an inherited heirloom, a sword (bastard).
In the spirit of Origins: Wolverine, I am on a grand quest to find the birthplace of our God of Death and the Dead. He was cursed to be a werebeast (panther) whenever he acted upon kindness, he killed his father, and he was a wanted man. Sounds like Wolverine to me!

He's got (or had) that big ziggurat temple in Ormath. Isn't that in the Western Heartlands? I know it was formerly dedicated to Myrkul, but it's at least part of the Kelemvorite lore. Perhaps you could place the keep somewhere nearby. The temple's former inhabitants may even have inadvertently contributed to the downfall of the Lyonsbanes.

Expanding upon the story, my character was born after his mother died from an attack from a wraith. One of the mercenaries she hired to get her out of western Faerun was a paladin, who managed to save the child from the womb. The child's hair was whitened and his eyes nearly bleached of color, as he was touched by death, literally. Oh and the god he serves is Kelemvor, his great-great-grand uncle.
I need ideas for the Lyonsbane heraldry/coat-of-arms. Any ideas? Suggestions?

-I'd suggest that it's something similar to Kelemvor's holy symbol. He didn't make that up out of thin air, so, it makes sense a bit.

True, but what about his panther form when he transformed under the curse? If I remember correctly, all of his male ancestors (going back generations to the originator of the curse, Kyle) were werepanthers. It'd make sense to have the sorceress's curse use the animal representing the family to kill. Ironic twist of justice.

And, of course, he is a werepanther. So, regardless of what region he may have come from, they may have been hunted--for whatever reasons.
So, you flee, bring up a family somewhere else.
Between the events of the Time of Troubles and Return of the Archwizards, it would make sense for the Lyonsbane family to branched out to other cities and nations, incl. Sembia.
