If not, what creatures would be reasonable for a party of 3-4 PC's? Any help concerning either issue would be great :D So far we have a Ranger, a Paladin and a Sorcerer. The fourth player has not told me yet what to be. At a worse case, I might DMPC someone. |

Looking at the random encounter table from the Manual of the plane (p64), there is only a few encounters that are too high level for them (the nightshades). As for creature suggestions, there is also a list of creatures in the Planar Handbook (p187). Among the creatures listed, there is the shadow template (+2CR) that can allow you to build many different encounters. The shadar-kai from Fiend folio looks cool at first glance. A group of shadar-kai rangers riding shadow mastiffs would be a great challenge for your party, I think. |

-Creatures that also exist there, that the book did not mention include Malugrym (sp?) and Shadow Dragons. |
