Jul 25, 2008 18:31:45 First of all, sorry if I'm asking old questions. I rarely have time to get to this site and when I do, I don't have time to read hundreds of posts - I wish I did, though

Anyway, does anyone know:

1) If the FR deities will be updated in either the FRCG or FRPG, or if there will be a new supplement similar to Faiths and Pantheons?

2) Where can I find the info about Amaunator's rebirth? Last I heard it was some kind of 'Risen Sun Heresy'.

The deities will be updated in the FRCG, yes. Currently, no book like F&P is planned.

2) Where can I find the info about Amaunator's rebirth?

We don't have those details, yet. We need to wait until the FRCG comes out, or for a possible preview article on that subject.

While waiting for the release of the FRCG, you may wish to familiarise yourself with what we already know about the details of the 'Risen Sun Heresy' through Power of Faerûn and City of Splendors: Waterdeep.

Jul 29, 2008 0:57:48 -Rich Baker has stated that there's very little chance that a new preview article on this matter be released. There was one planned for March-April-May, but for whatever reason, it was never released. With a few weeks between now and the release of the FRCG, it is doubtful that anything pertaining to the deities, such as a comprehensive list, be published.

-The one mention of Nobanion being a Druid exarch and stuff was yanked, so, coupled with this, makes me wonder: What's going on?

Unfortunately they did a "the sun stops here" thing and we didn't see a rebirth of everyone's favorite dusk god.

Jul 29, 2008 1:21:00 Chris Tulach is trying to have a preview article out focused on the gods, as it will be rather difficult to make clerics in the LFR campaign if you don't know who you are supposed to worship...
IF he succeeds (no guarantee) in getting such preview material out, it would be up around august 8, and there'll be handouts at GenCon.
