My question is this, for DFA's from my understanding is that they only get to pick 1 invocation to use between levels 1-2, and get to pick a second from 3-6. I want to take endure exposure, but when i read the description in dragon magic page 80, it says "least,3rd" Does that mean i cant either pick or use that invocation until im 3rd level?

Also if im reading it right, i would need to do a concentration check, if i take "steady concentration(race of stones) which gives me an auto matic 10, would the level difference be an issue at that point?

Not really Forgotten Realms related, this would probably be a better question for the previous edition forums, but, since im a nice guy, im going to answer your question anyways.

At first level you can pick any invocation graded as "Least". so yes you could pick and use Endure Exposure as your level 1-2 Least invocation. The 3rd simply means that it equates as a third level spell for the purposes of determining saving throws and stuff like that.

And the only time you will need to make a concentration check to use your Invocation is if you are hit while doing it to see if you still manage to do it or not. You can also make a concentration check to cast the invocation defensively to avoid provoking attacks of opprutunity.

Hope that clears it up for you.
