Feb 20, 2009 14:11:05 A bit of a personality/timeline question so that I don't make any glaring continuity errors in my current Forgotten Realms campaign. I should note that while I am using 4e, I'm running in the older 3e-ish timeline.

There is a Moonblade that is tied to the Wealdath, the major forest in Tethyr, apparently there have even been a novel or two about it, but I'm able to find very little solid facts.

Would anyone know what the name of the elf (half-elf? I've heard rumors) that would wield that Moonblade around 1370 DR?

(I'm having the PCs directly involved in the invasion of Murann by Solthillis.)

Feb 20, 2009 14:34:22 -Arilyn Moonblade. She is the protagonist of the Songs and Swords trilogy. The novel in question that you are referencing the events of would be, specifically Silver Shadows. Her 2e stats can be found in the Heroes' Lorebook.

Not as of yet. Just one of the many mysteries of 4e maybe we should send to search her out

Mar 10, 2009 22:24:30 I don't know if we ever will get answers. EC wasn't able to finish the last book in the Songs and Swords trilogy, so we never got the loose ends tied up that way, and there is a good chance that WotC won't touch her because they usually leave authors' pet characters alone.
