Realm NPC Characters 4th edition?

Sep 03, 2008 15:23:45 -If you go to the Running the Realms section, you'll see that there are already threads about making up 4e NPCs. Homebrew ones, and otherwise.

Pretty much every Realms NPC is dead except for some of the long-lived races and undead that might have survived the spellplague.

There's also the fact that I haven't read the 4e core books. I have them as well as the FRCG but I can't seem to summon the energy or interest in reading them. I'm only about halfway thru the FRCG.

It'll take a lot more 4e sourcebooks before I start posting Realms NPCs. Of course, that's assuming I'll still be interested in reading the books. I'm actually thinking of converting the Realms NPCs to Pathfinder's (something that I do have the energy and interest to read) but I'll have to wait until the complete and official rulebook comes out next year as well as this probably isn't the place to post such work.

-That's an overstatement, as there's plenty of theoretical ways for a specific NPC to be present in the new Forgotten Realms, should WotC want them there. I'd caution them to use that lightly, lest it be overdone, though.
