I was wondering if there are any stories of elves in this anthology?

Thanks! :P

Yes. And for what it's worth, there's a story by Elaine Cunningham in there.

do they involve any elves we all know? What are the names of the stories that feature elves?

Again, thanks!

The Twilight war anthology.

The Cunningham story features Elaith and Ferret. It was intended to be a "prelude" of sorts to the now cancelled Reclamation. It's been a while since I read the book though, and off the top of my head I cannot remember which stories contain elves and what the exact titles of them are.

This anthology is 3E (not post-Spellplague).

-Yes. An excellent short story by Elaine Cunningham. But, seriously, does Elaine Cunningham ever disappoint? I think not.

The Twilight war anthology.

Huh?

How did that answer my question?

Is this book 3e or 4e?

Edit: Nevermind - I think I get it now - its the anthology based on the Twilight war, which WAS 3e, correct?

-No. It's an anthology based on warfare and conflict in Faerûn. It has a cover in the story of the Twilight War novels, and the first story, but it isn't specifically tied to it.

Ah, okay...

It was just a quick cash-grab for them, then.

Still, an Elaine story makes it worth the cover price. ;)

-No, not really. It was just the latest anthology collection, and it came out at the same time. Same as Realms of the Elves and the Last Mythal trilogy. Or Realms of the Undead, and the Thay books.

Well, it is a matter of cross-promotion (I think), but as LK said there is a precedence for that with the anthologies.

-Right. Cross promotion. Good term.
