| #3lord_karsusSep 22, 2008 22:53:40 | -Candlekeep offers a variety of font downloads, including (I believe) the ones featured in the FRCS. That is, specifically, Dethek, Espruar, and Thorass. |
| #4einiSep 23, 2008 3:20:08 | I believe the original FR boxed set came with runic translations in dwarven, elvish and 1 other. I am kinda thinking back 20 years or so here so I could be wrong. I will have to find it. |
| #5einiSep 23, 2008 3:41:35 | OK. Here it is. The FR boxed 2nd ED set has a guide called "Grand Tour of the Realms". Pg 24 has a list of three runic alphabets, Thorass, Espruar and Dethek. The boxed set also has cards that give elvish and dwarven travel runes for warning and plague and such. Also magical wards. Espuar is the elvish script and dwarves use Dethek. Common script is the Thorass. This is a 1993 publication so good luck. On a a sad side note I think I might have lost my original boxed 1st ED set. I am pretty sure there was one here somewhere. |
