| #1JamroarMay 08, 2014 10:57:06 | A couple of other players and I plan to participate in the "Dead in Thay" encounters sessions at a gaming store this summer.
We were only able to drop in on one "Scourge of the Sword Coast" session, and it was fairly late in the season. The DM described the season so far at that point, but we'd love a more detailed description.
Is there anywhere we can read a description of the events of the "Scourge..." season before starting "Dead in Thay"?
We are going to have to play at home for the first 6 or so sessions, so I purchased "Dead in Thay" yesterday to DM the first several session myself. Once we are able to participate at the gaming store (mid-June) we'll meet up with the other parties as is seen fit by the DM at the store.
So I have a copy of "Dead in Thay" and so far there are references to events from "Scourge" but no detailed, blow by blow of who is encountered and where, etc. And I'd rather not purchase and read all of "Scourge..." since we won't be playing it.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

Done!
A bit longer is goblins took over a local town, orcs took over an old castel, gnolls took over a local hunting lodge, and some elves were evil. The PCs stop some of the problems and the local duke was possesed by a Balor. PCs fix that too. |
