Searching for an item

I've been looking for a certain item, specifically it is an adamantium tower the shrinks and grows at the owner's command.
It is in the second book of the Dark Elf Trilogy for sure but I need more specifics on it.
I have searched through every reference I can think of including this site and I just can't find it. Anyone have any idea?

I remember that item.

It may be a variant of Daern's Instant Fortress.

FYI: things are kind of slow here. If you ever have more questions about the Realms, you can always post here and at the Candlekeep forums, as things are a little busier there and people with far more knowledge about the Realms than I possess frequent that forum space (including Realms designers and authors).
