But in your campaign... why not? The class is nifty and underused IMO.
Anyway, in general it's not likely that someone with mostly human blood could be inducted among the Crinti Marauders, but, as SB mentioned, it's your campaign. IMO it's possible if they do a great service to any of the big nobles - ideally the new queen, who is not so traditionalist as some others - or are trained by a rogue Marauder. Either way, it would be a very rare case and the character should not expect acceptance from the majority of their peers.
Special : The character must either be Crinti or have the official sanction if the nobility of Dambrath. Only those accepted by the Crinti can train as shadow marauders.
What means it exactly ?
1. you must be a member of the Crinti - which is the nobility, composed of half-elves and drow (half-surface elves also count, as the priestesses of Loviatar who helped the drow take over were half-surface elves). I'm not quite sure how things are with people with less than 1/2 elven or drow blood, but I think 1/32 is too little.
2. or you must be specially permitted to become a Shadow Marauder by the Crinti nobles. Essentially, a noble must sponsor your application and it should not be contested by their superior.
Thus, even a non-Crinti can become a member if they have the approval of the nobles - though doubtless at least some nobles will not be thrilled by that.
Anyway, it all depends on the character. T'could well be that a noble wants to create his own ragtag band of Shadow Marauders for her very own purpose, as in: attack a fellow noble but not revealing her own identity. Or attack some outlanders somewhere else, but needs to use non-drow or non-half-drow, as the latters are not exactly welcomed outside Dambrath. No end of opportunities here. You know, it needs not to be public knowledge that someone is trained as a Shadow Marauder who'd normally not "qualify". And if that someone is roving through Dambrath et al to "gain some experience" before said noble uses the character for her own plot, no problem either.
Do note that it is intimated that most if not all Shadow Marauders are females, even in the bit on them in one of the Halruaa novels, they are all females.

The name of Crinti applies to all of Dambraths nobility, and even 1/32 drow blood would make you a Crinti, atlhough very far in the family ties and weak socially and politically. In Shining South theres a mention of a guy having 1/32 or 1/16 of Drow blood and still being Crinti.

Well ... be precise!
Crinti is the name of the half-drow of Dambrath, as described in The Shining South. All this percentage stuff is nice, but in essence as long as you are considered a half-drow, you are a crinti. 9 out of 10 half-drow come from previous relations with the drow of T'lindeth, while 1/10 come from the original half-elf priestesses of Loviatar who allied with the drow back then. These latter look like normal half-elves and will probably have to make their ancestry clear to be considered Crinti too, despite being no half-drow.Those mentioned above constitute the nobility of Dambrath, though Crinti and nobility should not be used as synonyms by default. Both drow and Loviatar based "societies are strictly matriarchical and that is the way Dambrath is ruled as well. While there is no concrete word saying that the Shadow Marauders need to be female, all which have been written about are. In any case, females hold all positions of power.
