Elminster Must Die is defintely on the top of my list. I just got to know what happens! Im still thinking theyll make him a god in that one, jeeze he pretty much is any way! At first i was totally against the idea, but after thinkin about it some, it makes sense, it was bound to happen sooner or later. I think my next character will be a Cleric of Elminster!

Elminster Must Die will be released on 03 August 2010. Just in time for Gencon.Cool

I have seen the Cover and its Nice.Smile

From the blurb I read on the product catalogue. El must feed The Simbul magical items or she will lose it, and their stash is running out. Plus when you have been alive as long as El has you tend to make some enemies along the way.Laughing

After all that who cares what else is on the way!SealedEmbarassedSealed

The Wrath of the Blue Lady

Has my interest. In fact I need some info on this, pretty pretty fast...

Elminster Must Die

Obviously.
Others are Realms of the Dead, and I am curious for the Planetouched series.

-And, gee, another Kraken. They've become the contemporary Zhentarim/Shadovar, as far as I can tell. Outside of the Erevis Cale trilogy, Twilight War trilogy, and the Abolethic Soverignty trilogy (all of which have come out in the past five years, or there abouts), how often have you seen a Kraken as an antagonist? The Starlight and Shadows trilogy had one (if I'm not misremembering), but that's about all I can think of. That spefic novel, Tangled Webs, also goes back quite a bit.

-Where did you find a display of the potential covers?

-And, gee, another Kraken.

It's not a kraken, or at least I don't think it is.
It's referred to as a 'squid like creature' or a 'tentacled monstrosity'. Not smart enough for a kraken, as far as I can tell.

The impression you gave me in the other thread is the squid thing isn't even the actual antagonist.

It is a creature that appears, but it has onyl a small part. I guess it is in there because it is underwater and therefor you need a big friggin squid monster.  Not kidding. Any big underwater adventure needs one. Even if, afterwards, you discover that the novel you are referencing had one as well, and much in the same way as you use it. You know. It is stronger than you. I'm just saying, you shouldn't hold it against people if they include one. Ahem.

Gomez,
working out the last kinks of an eh... adventure.

Everytime I hear Kraken, i think of that giant sea monster guy from the Clash of the Titans movie. but yeah Gomez is correct you need at least 1 giant squid in there, hells i'd go with two!

Clash of the Titans rule, two-headed old style death-dog what can we ask more....
That movie rocks, with Jason and the Argonauths!

As Kraken goes... we got our share in pirate movies and novels alike, time to get some other squids, maybe mind flayers? ah got that in that pirate movie also....
