Basically, I'll post up song lyrics and (if possible) a youtube link to a video of the song so you can both hear it and know what's being said. I want YOU to tell me what in teh Forgotten Realms the song reminds you of. It could be a place, a famous npc, a deity, or any even that transpired. I'm a fan of metal, so I will mainly post those, but I'll happily post up songs of other genres if you PM the song you want me to post. Also, with the videos, I can't guarantee it'll be the official music video or anything, so don't complain if I link to an AMV or something I'll start with what should be an easy one... Having said that, I've written some music for it [and for a few of Danilo's other songs] based on notes I got from both Ed and Elaine. They feature regularly as part of the background music in my campaigns.

#28 lord_karsus Dec 08, 2008 23:39:11	-Ironically enough, yes, technically, maybe. -True story: I was in my high school's marching band (the Drum Line leader, in my last year). One year, in the St. Patrick Day parade, I believe it was, our teacher got a bunch of mini triangles and mini cymbals to attack to some of the snare drums, because one of the Irish songs needed triangle dings, and hit-hat taps. About 3/4 of the way through the parade, one of the snare drummers hit his triangle too hard, and it broke off. Though some trick of physics, I was able to scoop it up with one of my sticks as I marched by (the snares were in front of the bass'). There weren't many people at that point in the route, and I was in the middle, so the snare player switched places with the person to my right. He started trying to repair it, but couldn't. Me, I held it for the rest of the parade (5-6 blocks or so), playing my drum with my left arm. He joked around about continuing to play it, and hit it once while I held it by the broken chain, but I didn't want to get hit by sticks, so I told him to stop, but...
