Spell plauge adventure

Jul 01, 2008 16:06:40 Since no "Module" or adventure series seems to not be forthcoming in the future about the spell plauge, I guess I'm going to have to make it up myself.
I'm DMing the three FR adventures "Cormyr, Shadowdale, and Anaroch" Just started the Cormyr adventure. I have'nt read the other two yet.
Is there any lead in to the Spellplauge scenerio in these adventures?
I know the 4E FR campaign is supposed to be after the spell plauge or something like that. (Of course I'm sticking with 3.5 for now)
I guess my question is, can the 3 adventures mentioned above lead into the spell plauge scenerio? and does anyone have any ideas of how they would do it?

Jul 01, 2008 18:16:20 -The WotC designers have stated that they are purposely going to not set anything during the 100 years (+/-) in which the Spellplague is most active.

-That said, those three modules take place about ten years before 1385 DR, when Cyric kills Mystra with Shar's help, and the Spellplague begins. If you want to tie them together, bump up the date of those adventures to 1385, and you can have the Ritual of Unwinding reach it's climax with the death of Mystra up in the heavens, thus sundering the Weave and beginning the Spellplague.

Jul 02, 2008 10:26:00 There is a 4E adventure coming out having to do with Spellgard. Also, Rich said there will likely be adventures in the online Dungeon from time to time.

-Spellgard. The third official book, the adventure, has to do with Spellgard.
