#1 Guest1447482596 Mar 24, 2015 6:30:24	Hello,   I want to start reading the Spellpluage novels but i cannot find a Novel that describe the actual event that leads to it like in the Avatar series novels in the Time of Troubles, is there a Novel that describe it?   Thanks
#2 LordManshoon Mar 25, 2015 12:27:44	Unfortunately, there really isn't a novel that gives an ideal build-up to the Spellplague. Each of the books set immediately before the Spellplague offers a snippet of the changes to come, but there is no book that actually looks at things in a big-picture, play-by-play sense. The closest would be the Empyrean Odyssey trilogy, which focuses on the shake-ups in the divine realms, but the writing is horribly choppy and manages to gloss over most of the details surrounding the actual event.

#4 biotech6 Mar 26, 2015 9:34:43	Honestly if you're interesting, WotC put out a decent series of six novels last year that explained the current state of the realms.  WotC hasn't said the current realms state and is leaving that up to the independent writers to really dictate it.  Hop on with the novels and go from there.
