Stasis Clone Spell

Jul 21, 2009 3:14:47 Just had a thought when I was driving home. Would the clone spell work if say the caster was male but under the effect of a belt of opposite gender so they would have a female exterior. Would the spell make a male clone or a female clone.

Too bad any answer he gave would only be official in as far as FR is concerned.

The way the spell works, it makes a perfect copy of the person at the time the spell is cast, so I would think that any 'strangeness' that the person may be under would also transfer to the clone (but that is merely my opinion).

Tha means curses (like Lycanthropy) would transfer as well.

Jul 21, 2009 21:20:19 It was on my mind because I was thinking of running a 4th Edition forgotten realms (yes i know, god help us all) and had a strange thought of Manshoon as a lady since at the moment its only Orbakh up and running.

In any case I think it may remain one of those little odd thoughts I have from time to time and leave it at that since now im distracted by the new Horus Heresy novel. GO GO DARK ANGELS!

Jul 21, 2009 21:39:47 -Why not? If Mr. Minister can do it, why not Manshoon? Overall, I'd rank Mr. Sinister higher in the overall ranks of...'evil doers' than Manshoon, so...

-And, you know what? If, by the most conservative rule gathering, it doesn't work, after the clone is created, a spell can be cast to change it's sex.

Let's just say I have the perfect guise for dropping in on the old Silverhand farm. My old nemesis will never see it coming; he'll have his guard down. And if he does discover it's me and retaliates, it's not like I'm down for the count. I'll be back in action before he can lament his vulnerable libido.
