| #1elvenavengerMay 17, 2009 3:09:06 | I know some of these were destroyed but i was wondering whats the currant status on some of these in 4e Imaskarcana Nether Scrolls Crown of horns Moonblades Kiira's |
| #2StiggerMay 17, 2009 9:12:38 | Wherever the DM wants to have happened to them is the only real answer that can be given until a DDI article mentions them. |
| #3markustay63May 17, 2009 10:36:56 | The Crown of Horns is currently residing on the head of a demon (or tiefling - I forget which) somewhere in the Unnaproachable East, IIRC. As for the rest, Stigger has the right of it. They still exist... wherever the DM needs them to be. ;) |
| #4lord_karsusMay 17, 2009 11:49:15 | -Plenty of Moonblades and Kiira still exist out there. Many Moonblades are 'Hopeblades' now. |
| #5StiggerMay 17, 2009 18:03:09 | Hopeblade? That sounds ominous... |
| #6lord_karsusMay 17, 2009 21:20:29 | -Blackstaff. Of the twenty-five known Moonblades, nine or ten (don't remember) are Hopeblades. |
| #7nightseerMay 17, 2009 22:09:26 | Another Elven WMD. :embarrass |
| #8sfdragonMay 18, 2009 3:22:35 | not like the human/shade/ the third one wmd known as: the Shadowblades...... |
| #9markustay63May 18, 2009 11:27:55 | Hopeblade? That sounds ominous... Yes, as in "we HOPE that everyone who is not an Elf will be killed by these blades". ![]() Whenever an Elf tries to do you a favor, RUN... run as fast as you can. You just know you're being set-up. |
| #10StiggerMay 18, 2009 13:01:02 | This is sadly true... those evil little elves and their bags of dirty little evil tricks... |
| #11sfdragonMay 18, 2009 14:29:51 | yeas ,be that as it may, its NOTHING like those HUMANS and ORCS with their BIG bags of dirty BIG tricks.-some dumb goblin with an orc spear in his gut |
| #12StiggerMay 18, 2009 16:01:29 | Feh, amateurs compared to those elves... the only races worth a damn on the goodly scale are hin and gnomes. All the other, lesser I might add, races are for the most part evil, though the elves are the worst. Tanar'ri go to elves for evil lessons you know... |
| #13sfdragonMay 18, 2009 16:15:59 | and who learns from the tannari??? the orcs right. well I just send it the dreaded 501st kobold legions of 50000 kobolds that sling cow patties and horse manure. win or loose, the battlefield will smell like fecal matter |
| #14lord_karsusMay 18, 2009 16:37:56 | -Back to artifacts, or the lack thereof. |
| #15StiggerMay 18, 2009 16:39:58 | You know, that's just asking for this to turn into an anti-4e rant... :P ;) |
| #16lord_karsusMay 18, 2009 16:46:24 | -I'm just asking for the discussion to closer toe the line of what the point of the thread is. If people want to say things in that vein, that's their prerogative, as long as it's somehow relevant. |
| #17markustay63May 18, 2009 23:26:42 | Yeah... artifacts... and stuff... I really like that one.. you know... from that book.. the one that the characters used, and it did all those things... ![]() Feh, amateurs compared to those elves... the only races worth a damn on the goodly scale are hin and gnomes. All the other, lesser I might add, races are for the most part evil, though the elves are the worst. Tanar'ri go to elves for evil lessons you know... For what it's worth, I think Gnomes may be the only thing eviller the Elves. Because , you see, they even have the Elves fooled.... |
| #18StiggerMay 19, 2009 9:51:28 | Gnomes are paragons of humorous virtue... one day, the world will thank them and the Hin when they're running the show. :P |
| #19markustay63May 19, 2009 10:14:30 | I see you've never played Arcanum... Them, with their human 'trophy wives' and their cross-breeding experiments (that tended to kill the mothers). They have done things that would make a Fiend cringe. |
| #20StiggerMay 19, 2009 11:00:49 | Can't say its even vaguely familiar... |
| #21sfdragonMay 19, 2009 12:32:16 | that games... shivers, the horror. Mr. Cain you should of stuck with fallout |
| #22zsychMay 21, 2009 21:28:59 | I thought the Nether Scrolls were returned to the Netherese (kinda). Imaskarcana... if the knowledge is still useful at all... should still be around somewhere. ... Magic items survived but I wonder if permanent spell-effects survived Mystra's death. Maybe most of the defences on the Imaskarcana and such are dead. |
| #23lord_karsusMay 21, 2009 21:37:13 | ... Magic items survived but I wonder if permanent spell-effects survived Mystra's death. Maybe most of the defences on the Imaskarcana and such are dead. -Mythals (Evereska) and mythallars (The Shade Enclave) had their effects continue after Mystra's death, so...I'd assume all of those things would still be working. But, that's the beauty of random, chaotic Spellplague, that doesn't "play by the rules", so to speak- it doesn't answer to anyone. |
| #24zsychMay 21, 2009 21:46:01 | True enough. Someone needs to send me to this world, so I can destroy those annoying mythals. |
