SPOILERS....DIE

DO NOT SUGGEST ME TO THE CANDLE KEEP. IF YOU ASK SOMETHING OF AUTHORS THAT IS NOT PRAISING THEM, THEY WON'T ANSWER YOU.

Ok, after reading this, I have a few questions...what happened to the tiefling sorccer? It said he got hurt but not dead. Did the author just blank out and he was gone? Also what happen to the icehammer clan? They never mentioned them after the war and they did survive and it did not talk of them leaving hulburg. And since the step cousin hired them, when they house mercinaries left, wouldn't the dwarf clan as well during the battle? This book blew my mind is so many ways.

The title of this post is quite misleading NoPityForACoward. Unanswered plot points are hardly "screw ups" and will likely be answered in the sequel.

Not all were unanswered, and were screw ups, as with the icehammer clan. When you have a character fall into a black hole and have them re-appear in the next novel...thats unanswered plots...but when they are in plan view of other characters and no longer mentioned, that's bad script writting because they do not have many ideas to fall back on in a trilogy.

My question throughout the book was why didn't the ghostwise halfling know what the bad guy was up to? He could read minds at will after all.

In the last chapter the Icehammers began to be called Ironhammers. Was that a typo?
