Jan 23, 2010 13:55:07 Are there any symbols or emblems associated with returned Netheril, other than the holy symbol of Shar?

I'm looking to have a symbol to tattoo on some NPCs that belong to a Netherise organization, but I can't think of what it should look like.

you could go to the fR general and check out my a visual grand tour of the realms and find something, I did Find a pic call mage's avatar.

Jan 24, 2010 0:27:31 I dont think theyve ever said what the Shades use as a symbol, it would make sense for them to have a flag or some kind of heraldic device. It would be nice if they put out a book or an article or something that listed all the flags and symbols in color of all the different areas of the Realms.

In the adventure Escape from Sembia, there mentioned that a Netherese agent as a symbol of a clenched fist crushing a dove, so perhaps that is their symbol?

there may be a way to get discriptions of what they looked like.
go to Candlekeep.com and ask Ed Greenwoond in his thread there, or Go to Lormaster.org and ask him in his interview section.

Jan 24, 2010 4:18:37 Or you could remember the Netheril of old was compared to our ancient Greece and Rome, so think of something from there. There was a bit of drawings in Netheril boxed set, so...

Not sure if that helps, but I think it would at least give you a clue of the general netherese heraldric style.
