In the adventure "Anuaroch, blah blah blah," the Terraseer (From old netherise lore) is found, but no alignment is mentioned, which is the first thing the PC's will do is detect alignment or evil.
Does any one know what his alignment is? or even better, game stats?

Neutral sarrukh lich wiz25/archmage5. The 2e Netheril module has his 2e stats, but assumed he was human. 3e made him a sarrukh.

He's Neutral, but apart from that and the fact that he's a sarrukh lich, all I know is that he's a wizard 25/archmage 5 and his CR is 37.

... and his CR is 37.

Only if you go with non-associated class levels. Otherwise it would be CR 44.

Wasn't the sarrukh cr21? That would give you a rather inflated cr of 53.

If we assume it was a typo (cr11 sounds more sane), we would get a final cr of 36 (Base 11, +7 non-associated, +16 class, +2 lich). Seems fair enough.

I'm well aware that you'd give sarrukh non-associated class levels, but considering the fact they created the Nether Scrolls and are a highly magical race, associated class levels are fine, too, imo.

That was a typo, indeed. CR 12 is correct.

Hmmm. Might not hurt to give him a neutral alignment--in fact it would likely be appropriate.

I don't go by all that CR crap, it's needless work in developing an encounter. After an adventure I just assign a number of experience points, usaully enough to advance to the next level or so.
Anyway, does anyone know where to find 3.5 version stats on the Terraseer? Green giant maybe?

-Full stats, I don't think there are official ones. Limited stats, those are in LEoF (Male Sarrukh Lich, Wizard 25/ Archmage 5).

Yep, he's portrayed as moderately helpful/friendly in the adventure trio that includes Cormyr: Tearing of the Weave, although players don't meet him until the final chapter in Anauroch.

Yup - I see him as more self-serving with his own, unique agenda, so I wouldn't place the good or evil labels on him at all.
