#1 lord_karsus Aug 25, 2008 23:52:48	-Looking over the new map, I see, well, "Netheril" (A Netheril not ruled by me simply isn't Netheril. Thus, from now on, we will refer it it as "Netheril") isn't really in much of a desert anymore. So, the Anauroch is gone?

#6 krownhunter07 Aug 26, 2008 0:29:40	Yeah, on a second look through, it seems that most of the change is due to the melting ice caps, cooler temps and the like. It isn't all green though.

#14 oluevara Aug 26, 2008 13:16:43	Nothing's explicitly said about the state of the road, but the zhent presence in the region was destroyed by the Shades, their outposts are in ruins, and one has to figure that a number of the regions the road bisected are no longer desert. The road itself may have been washed away by the major climate upheavals which began in the 1370s.
#15 lord_karsus Aug 26, 2008 13:45:21	-I wonder what happened to that road the Zhents built? ;) -It was commandeered by the Shadovar. Why waste something like that? Though, I always viewed it as more metaphorical, than an actual road. I always saw it more akin to a known trade route that the Zhents "made safe" for themselves against monster/Bedine attacks.
