At the minimum I'd like to see a regional benefit and a common knowledge entry, but the full blown entry is acceptable as well. Multiple entries are permissible but ultimately the community will decide on the best entry (or perhaps the best bits of information to be used in a particular region). |

The city-state has existed in secret for thousands of years, sitting amidst the Shaeradim mountains, north of the Battle of Bones, on the western edges of the Anauroch Desert. Since the breaching of the Sharn Wall in 1,371 DR, and the subsequent siege, Evereska has slowly been nursing her wounds, gaining a new enemy: The Shadow Enclave. |
| #4lord_karsusSep 26, 2008 11:28:30 | Evermeet Common Knowledge The magical island of Evermeet was created long ago, though sages disagree about the date of it's genesis. Some claim it to be -24,000 DR, while others claim it to be -17,000 DR. In -9,800 DR, Aryvandaar spearheaded her colonization, funding expeditions to the island. Over the years, as Faerûn would change, Evermeet would stay an Elven refuge. Various 'Retreats' to Evermeet, by the Elves, have taken place over time, the last strong exodus taking place between 1,344 DR and 1,372 DR. During the Spellplague, the entire island was whisked to the Plane of Faerie, leaving in it's wake a dead "placeholder", marking where the island once stood majestically. |
