#1 Gwathir Jun 12, 2014 6:59:59	For those who have read the book...   1. I don't quite understand what happens to Manshoon. I think one of his clones dies? and how? Was that his last clone?   2. Its obvious that Myth Drannor was destroyed but its unclear to me what happens to Candlekeep, did it topple to the ground as well? Clearly it was damaged from the spell-battle but...   3. With Myth Drannor's mythal destroyed, was it the last remaining 'true mythal' ?   4. Larloch is a lich, and from my understanding the oldest living mage in the Realms, but there was no mention of his phylactery, I take it his cabal of liches are protecting it? Which means he may yet still 'live'?     - - -    5. Okay so the Sundering is complete, what now? I hope Tyranny of Dragons elaborates a bit on the current state of the Realms, else its kind of hard to run a campaign without an updated campaign setting.

#4 Gwathir Jun 13, 2014 5:56:10	Using Ed's articles would be a great way of keeping us informed on the state of the Realms... but yeah to me it almost feels as though they abondoned the Sundering and replaced it with Tyranny of Dragons ... but it leaves allot of us "in the dark" who want the continuity of the realms but run our own campaigns (instead of published adventures).   In fact the only way we found out that the Sundering was over was through a tweat by Mike Mearls. They have been ranting and raving about the Sundering on the site for months and now they are just droping it like a hot potato without follow up.   Its just really odd.
#5 HobbitFan Jun 13, 2014 8:41:56	Without follow-up, an update or some campaign details....all we have is hype and PR basically.   It may not be their intention but doing things this way makes it look like they only really are interesting in FR in terms of whatever they are currently promoting.   Considering one of the points of 5E was winning back fans....this seems a weird way to go about it.

#9 HobbitFan Jun 20, 2014 19:18:13	Rils:  If the articles have been parceled out having been written all at once, that explains why they seem written in a vacuum.   I think WOTC could put some update information online very easily.  I don;t understand why they haven't.
#10 Gwathir Jun 23, 2014 6:08:02	My assumption is that they are holding off until everything is clear on their end... but yeah given that Tyranny of Dragons and D&D Expeditions happens AFTER the Sundering, they are going to have to provide some level of information about the "New Realms".   Now whether that will be covered in a FR collumn, a pdf or simply integrated within Tyranny of Dragons, who knows!
