Yeah, BadCatMan really ran with the ball, I was impressed.
I waited a whole month before I went looking for the last Harry Potter book...
I guess I'm not a 'True Fanboi'.
Still not getting all the excitement - Over the years I have been a big fan of many things, but I never understood the 'camping out' mentality of some people.
-Because it's something you do for bragging rights. I certainly did it for Star Wars: Episode II and Episode III. Was the second and first person at my local theater, respectively, for the first day showing of each movie.
-And, as daring as I am, I snuck into the midnight showing of Episode III. Not on purpose, as someone I knew who was working at the theater was supposed to hook me up, but...Long story.
I got to sit in one of those nifty 'premiere theatres' with the leather seats with my two boys. I didn't know how long it was going to be, and it was a school night...
My wife wanted to kill me...
But it is a nice memory we have now, and I suppose it was worth it (even though I would have never went had I had to pay for it).

Since I didn't pre-order, I had a long wait ahead to get the book at the midnight sale, but I realized they weren't paying close attention to who actually approached the counter after they called each group, so I just slipped in and bought my book, saved myself about 1 1/2 hours.

Luckily, I've got a local Borders that apparently doesn't have anyone working there literate enough to read street dates. I just picked up the FR setting today, and the KotoR book for Saga (due out sometime this week), last Thursday.
Bane bless those dyslexic shelvers. ;)

Have you ever looked at the older April editions of Dragon magazine (pre-Paizo)? they had an annual tradition of Band on the Run... D&D oriented remakes of pop songs.. Bohemian Rhapsody was a tribute to Dragonlance for example.
If you want to go ahead and finish the song, I was at the limit of my creativity in that regard.
