| #2lord_karsusJul 29, 2009 22:20:05 | -Given that the FRCG makes no mention of either, nor have any other 4e products since then, that I am aware of, we'll use the given example that both are either dead, or have left Realmspace, causing their clergy to fall into shambles, and likely be absorbed by that of Gruumsh. Personally, though, I see no reason not to use either as if they were dead in your game, especially if you are "allowing" the Orc Pantheon to continue to exist. Ilneval to a much lesser degree, but Yurtrus embodied a very important concept in Orc life, and had an important role in the Orc Pantheon. |

| #4lord_karsusJul 29, 2009 23:35:52 | -Apparently not, but... -Though, as was the case in that preview book Worlds and Monsters, we have a case of something that is important/relevant to the world, as opposed to something that is important/relevant to playing D&D in the setting. Though, death is something that would carry some weight in a D&D game, but not at the "expense" of having "too many deities", and racial deities at that; it'd go against their mantra to condense. |

Make them a channel divinity power and give them a sphere of influence and you're good to go. |
