-Hey folks we got the new forum FINALLY!
-This is the FIRST OFFICIAL THREAD HERE!!! THIS IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL POST HERE!!!

The Red Hand of Doom in the Realms.

-The Year: 1380 DR The Year of the Blazing Hand.
-The date: 22 Kythorn.
-The location: The Channath Vale.

The Cast

-Quarion Male Sun Elf Duskblade 5 "Veteran of The Crusade"
-Maximus Male Human Fighter 5 "Exile from Dambrath"
-Pheysine male Sun Elf Cleric 5 of Corellon "Veteran of the Crusade"
-Ulrick male Sun Elf Wizard3/Master Specialist2 Evoker
-Bobi Bu'shei Male Sun Elf Wizard3/Rogue2
-La'algas Raptoraan Male Scout3/Ranger2 or Scout2/Ranger3.

It begins: Chapter One

-22 Kythorn. The Band of Heroes are travelling down the Dawn Way heading west from Rethmar in the Channath Vale. Going to Drellins Ferry. The group has a map to a treasure in Vraath's Keep. Vraath's Keep was a Minor Noble Holding from the Old Shoon Imperium. It has had numerous other Holders since then. For the last 10 years it has been abandoned. That is untill recently.

-The Cleric Pheysine had a vision on the 'Night of the New Moon' (16 Kythorn). His Vision was of "Man" in front of a vast multitude on a hill with 100 steps holding A banner with a Red Hand on it. He was also holding a pick in his other hand. He then saw a marsh/swamp with a necklace of Wood, Bone, and Teeth. He then saw a Stone Lion surrounded by Undead. Then He saw a City in Flames. At the end of his vision he saw the face of an Elf Cleric. He was told not to tell of the vision until he met this Cleric. And only to this Cleric. For this cleric had the same vision.

-On 20 Kythorn was the Summer Solstice. It rained in the whole Vale that day. Locals and visitors saw the rain as a bad omen. On that Day Wyrmlord Koth set up a base of operation in Vraath's Keep. His mission is to test the Defenses of the Vale and gather information on the Vale. Warbands of the Red Hand Horde left to harras the area around Drellins Ferry.

-22 Kythorn. The Heroes are half a day away from Drellins Ferry when they Get attacked by a roving band of Hobgoblin of the Horde. The defeat them and the reinforcements that arrive to the fight. The found the Bodies of a travelling merchant and her guards. Pheysine buried them and blessed the graves. Didn't want any angry spirits coming back. The Heroes then took the loot they found into Drellins Ferry and sold it. There they met Captain Sorrana Anitah Female Human Fighter 5 (Leader of Drellins Ferry militia). They told her about the warband they defeated. She told them that Hobgoblin attacks have been on the rise lately. She asked their business in Drellins Ferry. They told her about the Map to the Keep. She told them to look for Jorr Natherson. A local ranger of good heart and spirit. He 'might guide' them due to his having worked with some Elves before. She suggested that they stay at the 'Green Apple Inn'. They then went and got some rooms for the night. Around dinner Sorrana and 'Town Speaker Norro Winston' came to the 'Apple' and had a meeting with the Heroes. All the locals left the Apple. They asked them to investigate the recent rise of Hobgoblin attacks. Maximus and Bobi Bu'shei asked how much gold was involed. 500 Gp's a piece. To which Pheysine said to split his amount amonst the party. So Quarion paid his tithes to Pheysine.

-23 Kythorn the Heroes went and found Jorr. He started to lead them to the Keep. They fought a 6 Headed Hydra. Found a +1 Mithral Breastplate. (Was given to Maximus)

-That was a recap of session one.

Well, we made it: Two forums for FR. Merged Forums must be Stopped! :D

Just one question regarding Delta's game, where is the Channath Vale, is it near Chessenta or Unther? if there are Tiamat worshippers there...

-The Westdeep in RHD, becomes the Misty Vale. The Wyrmsmoke Mountains in RHD, becomes the Wyrmbones. The Thornwaste in RHD, becomes the Bandit Wastes. Lake Rhestin in RHD, becomes Lake Lhespin. The Blackfens in RHD, become The Lhespinbog. The Witchwood in RHD, becomes the Shaareach Forest. The Giantshield Mountains in RHD, becomes the Rathgaunt Hills. The Marth Forest in RHD, becomes the Channathwood. The Wyvernwatch Mountains in RHD, becomes The Northwall.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Channath Vale (and a good chunk of the Shaar)

I thought I posted this already; it must be one of the ones that got 'lost' when I took all my maps down that time.

I have a little problem with this one - I added that ruin on the Landrise after reading a piec of Realmslore but then forgot to add the name, and it ewas so long ago and can't remember where I read it.

I'm going to ask over at CK, and then update this map, so don't download it just yet.

Just remembered that Calvin and Hobbes' first club name put forward was "The Black Hand of Crawling Death."

-I don't know anything about this adventure, but the leader guy needs a Demon-grafted arm instead of a real one. I did that with a Blackguard BBEG recently, and it was pretty cool. Especially when he cast back his cloak and all.

--My PC's are: a Human Fighter "Maximus". A Raptoraan Scout/Ranger. A Sun Elf Cleric of Correllon "Veteran of the Crusade". A Sun Elf Duskblade 'Veteran of the Crusade". A sun Elf Master Specialist. A Sun Elf Wizard/Rogue. Will get names later :embarrass . The Party was at Rethmar getting Supplies and heading west towards Drellin's Ferry, when the opening encounter took place. Only one player was even interested in picking a Home Region. Most are old Greyhawk players.

tell that to an orc

-An Orc would agree, but for a different reason. "Ugh, yes, never enough Elfses. Gornog kill more and more and more and not run out of Elfses to kill!"

-Actually this isnt a Fight the Orc's campaign. Heck I could add some just for you guys! I know my PC's would hate you for it! :D

-I was Reading Dragons of Faerun and I saw something about the Order of the 5 Thorned Rose. Its some kinda Knighthood dedicated to Tiamat. Does anybody have any more info, lore, or guidance about them. I know that some are around Lapaliiya which is due west of where the game is taking place.

-Ok now that this game is back on. I guess I need to start posting again. The last time we played was toward the end of August before my family situation went haywire and I need to take a two month break. The party Defeated Ozzy (a Male Young Green Dragon) 2 Hell Hounds, a Hobgoblin Sergeant, and 8 Hobgoblin Veterans. I had Ozzy fly off to the north and come back after 10 rounds, because the cowards wouldn't attack the bridge with him around! They finally took control of the bridge. They also saw smoke to the north and went to investigate. Jor (the guide DMPC) realized that it was the town of "Kormul". The Horde had put the town to the sword and burned it down. The party spied the Horde gathering at "Cinder Hill" to the west a little ways. Then promtly retreated after seeing the Horde. Pheysine remembered his vision from the "Night of the New Moon (16 Kythron)". That was where they were when we finished that session. What they do to the bridge I will find out tomorrow night when we start back up.
