#1 enlightened Mar 18, 2009 15:39:28	In my new campaign, a player wants his character to be from Sembia, but I don't see Sembia detailed in the book. I'm wondering where to look to determine what his characters special bonus is for being from Sembia. Am I just over looking it? If it's not anywhere, then what do you think the character should get? The other two characters in the group are both from Waterdeep and they get an extra language and a bonus to Diplomacy according to the book.
#2 enlightened Mar 18, 2009 17:31:33	Have the regional benefits of being from Sembia been released/published anywhere? I can't seem to find it in the FR Player's Guide. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Technically you are right, but in the campaign guide, Sembia gets its own page seperate from Netheril. Do you think that a character from Sembia should use the Netheril origin bonuses?
#7 Inaubryyn Mar 21, 2009 5:57:37	Tethyr's not there as far as regional bonuses either. It's unfortunate, but I'd say make 'em up and make 'em close to what's already there. What's funny is, in 3E they had regional feats for pretty much every region in Faerun.
#8 bow_seat Mar 22, 2009 21:48:54	i dont have my FR book here at college, but this is what im thinking. if sembia were annexed in recent history (this generation) then it would be reasonable to come up with an individual one. but if it were annexed a significant time ago, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that the residents of sembia wouldn't be drastically different than most of the residents of netheril. just a thought, please dont flame me, i dont have some of my books available

Sembia is now a puppet state of Netheril, but it's unlikely that it would have the same culture as Netheril after only 100 years.
