#1 naex Aug 21, 2008 1:54:49	Ok, here is my current working theory... Shar, had spent a long time working certain other gods into posistion, in the guise of one of his angels, she bagan whispering in Tyr's ears of treachery. She managed to push him into the all the events that occurred in 1384. AO was distracted by the quarrels among that faction of the gods and the fallout from the duel. Shar chose this time to use her so-called ally Cyric to strike at Mystra, so she could make her play for the weave. Now for where it gets weird... Mystra became the defacto goddess of time with the transformation of Amaunator into Lathander, and while the previous Mystra had control over this aspect of her powers, Midnight did not have, pun kind of intended, time to master this aspect of her power. When she was struck by Cyric and her power released it did not just spread out in space, but in time as well. AO was only able to react in time to stop the blast from spreading out into the past and destroying history. So basically all his power was spent by the time he actually would have been able to see and stop Cyric and Shar. Also explains why Shar has been able to block the rise of a new god/goddess of magic, since he is still recovering his power.

I can't comprehend how all of you don't flip out about this. I don't even play DnD and it bothers me. Like watch, within a year, it's going to be something like : "Humans live 2k years now, because um..well they just do." FR forum: "Sounds good to me!"
