The next big storyline Tyranny of Dragons is coming and it will be set in the Forgotten Realms, with The Cult of the Dragon trying to unleash Tiamat on the Sword Coast north!
There is also an article in the USA Today on this news that will hit both tabletop and digital D&D plateforms.

Sounds a little sketchy to me, but then I've never been much of a fan of the Cult of the Dragon. Oh well, we'll see I guess, hopefully they'll turn them into something actually scary instead of just crackpots with too much magic at their disposal...
ROFL... seriously, that whole promise about "no more RSEs for the Realms" didn't last very long.
They couldn't even finish up the Sundering, which was to be the last RSE, before launching into another RSE.

I'd prefer campaign material...but honestly, I'm seriously meh about the whole thing. Unless we get a well developed update on the Cult of the Dragon and different campaign ideas on how to present them in your game from level 1 upwards.
