#2 morandir62 Jul 14, 2011 14:05:55	Ask your DM if he allows it. All Races and Classes are technically compatible for any setting.  The main difference between "normal D&D" and a campaign setting, such as FR, is the atmosphere of the setting itself.

It does for the more storytelling/roleplaying player types, like myself ; for me, its an attribute as defining as the more mechanical ones.

I have just read it, i think is a shame that they decided to restrict, i must admit that its true that vampires cant be too different from the monsters, but one of the things that make this game great is the big cuantity of choices u can make in races, classes and inside the classes. I know that increase the variety of vampires may at first appear similar to another game but have nothing to do, even expanded because the times are different (D & d is similar to the Middle Ages, the other not, d & d you can choose to race on the other not, in the other u can just play as a vampire in this one you cooperate with different classes) so I see no harm to increase the variety of choices, not as much as the others but at least more than just 2 options. by the way thanks morandir62 for the backgrounds and feats.

I tend towards Fuzzy Navel myself ... never likes those Strawberry Daiquiri Halflings ...
