| #1londoncallingAug 02, 2009 6:03:14 | i want to bring back TYR, in my realms campaign, its still in the early stages, party only lvl 4... already introduced an old temple of tyr, which held a Longsword inscribed with runes and Tyr's symbol... which was taken by the party Bard and on her next lvl am going to allow her to multi into Paladin... Just wondering where to go from here, and any info on bringing back dead or pressumed dead gods... any help, tips, advice or threads would be very welcome Tks in advance SC |

I still think that Tyr should instantly kill himself for what he did to Helm and Aribeth de Tylmarande if he ever returns, but that's just me. There are already some ways, Lord Karsus described a ritual that brought Bane back, I'm trying to let Eilistraee return from a mortal avatar and Turbowombat wants to bring back Azuth. You can use the sword as an artifact of Tyr (that maybe grows in power with the tiers but also demands that the wielder follows Tyr's rules) maybe even one that contains a bit of Tyr's sentience? Or maybe Tyr has still an old-school avatar out there that could ascend to godhood under certain circumstances and needs the help of your players? |

| #4arcas_shanAug 02, 2009 7:26:28 | After her husband was executed in Neverwinter for trusting a false Helm-priest(he was a scapegoat if that was a crime Neverwinter should've been completely eradicated) she got visions from a Sarrukh to convert her as far as I remember one of those was about Tyr abandoning her. When she became a blackguard because of that she was defeated and repented trying to help undo the damage she had had done. But she was executed and went straight to hell.... He neither opposed the brainwashing by Morag nor took her back after she repented. (Yes, I'm unreasonable, but I liked her and Helm.:D ) |

| #7arcas_shanAug 02, 2009 14:19:41 | -And, was unfrozen in Caina by one Gafgarian Dragonsbane Cleric [Torm] 20 / Champion of Torm 4, and will aid him in defeating Mephistopheles when I play the game next! :D I always thought that it was an elven rogue/shadowdancer.;) Still Tyr was someone I wanted to hit for that. Right after gutting Nasher Alagondar alive. But noooooo I wasn't allowed to kill him in NWN 2 and now he's dead in 4E. They stole my revenge!°° But we are derailing the thread.:D @ Londoncalling Just a question, you mentioned that you will allow your bard to multiclass into paladin. Does he want it? A strange idea that would need player approval would be that the bard is Tyr (will take the Avatar of Justice ED in epic).:D |
