#1 dolgar Oct 13, 2008 17:10:22	In the Ecology of the Genasi article, the religion section states: "Genasi favor deities that share elements of their portfolio with the genasi’s primary manifestation." Now being a Watersoul Genasi the only God that seems to share any elements of their portfolio with this is Selûne, in the ebb and flow of the tides, however the "Elemental Assault" feat, indicates the element associated with watersoul is Acid, so even this doesn't feel right. I guess the other choice is to base the choice on my class (wizard) and choose Oghma or Corellon although neither of these seem exactly ideal either. Does anyone have any suggestions for a deity (for a FR campaign) for an unaligned or good watersoul genasi wizard?

Frankly the most likely picks for an Unaligned or Good genasi are: the Water Primordial (don't remember her name), Deep Sashelas (aquatic elf god), Deep Sashelas' wife (goddess of dolphins. don't remember her name but wikipedia does), Silvanus (general nature god). An evil one might worship Umberlee.

The water primordial is listed under the Primordial section, not deity. Sashelas is still the patron deity of aquatic elves and nothing indicates his wife is dead. since she is normally the deity of dolphins and probably an exarch these days I'd highly doubt she'd be mentioned in the FRCS or FRPG. Both Silvanus and Umberlee are mentioned. Silvanus is a greater god and Umberlee is a goddess.

"Istishia: The Lord of Water is the embodiment of the constantly mutable nature of water. Not interested in Umberlee’s storms or Valkur’s sailors, he is an aloof and uncaring being."

Well, you could just pick the god you think your character would actually be interested in worshipping. Without knowing anything about your character except that he's a genasi, it's hard for me to make a suggestion.
