Hi everyone ! I've been searching for one hour for news about Dumathoin in 4th FR, especially because he's not in the Pantheon list of FRCG (p.80-81).

Is he dead or what ?

Thx for your help !

I've explained how people will view you as being a Drizztmanchild.

I raise you for 325 years and now you disobey?

Maybe he died as he lived.

In silence.

(Hope i can get a confirmation of this... ;))

That's actually a pretty good point.

Yet, he may still live in the same manner.

-According to Rich Baker, if a deity isn't listed in the FRCG, there's a reason for it (even if we haven't actually been told). So, taking this in stride, Dumathoin is probably dead.

Dude--he's the dwarven god of secrets. That's good enough reason for him being "gone" without needing to be dead.

I mean, he was a mute--who the hell is he going to tell.

-Until recently, that's what a lot of us thought with Mask. Albeit, he might not be dead per se, but he isn't going to be 100% the same Mask that existed beforehand when/if he returns.

No. He'll be cooler, shadier, and more intriguing.

Dumathoin will be outgoing, vocal, and more personable.

Doesn't mean it won't happen.

-Fits the current design philosophy.
