| #1todesherrAug 03, 2008 3:34:40 | I am now in a civilised country and am eagering awaiting its release...19.8? I heard that date. Anyone in the know?! |
| #2xhazerdusxAug 03, 2008 13:27:51 | I have the FR Campaign Guide preordered at Amazon (pretty cheap!!) and they have the shipping date listed as August 19th. Same day as the DM screen! |
| #3lord_karsusAug 03, 2008 14:47:55 | -It is supposed to be released on August 19th. I, however, have been told by someone that the date is being pushed back until September. I haven't found anything confirming this, but I asked Rich Baker, just in case. He hasn't answered yet. -And, what civilized country are you in? And, what uncivilized country were you previously in? |
| #418DELTAAug 03, 2008 15:14:53 | -WotC will want to Have it for GenCon 2008. Why let Paizo be the only Company (Dont know about other companies) that has a Setting Book for GenCon? 18DELTA ![]() |
| #5markustay63Aug 03, 2008 15:17:07 | Believe it or not, Delta, Paizo and WotC won't be the only two companiees at Gencon. ;) |
| #6lord_karsusAug 03, 2008 15:25:51 | -Isn't it run by WotC? |
| #718DELTAAug 03, 2008 15:26:10 | Believe it or not, Delta, Paizo and WotC won't be the only two companiees at Gencon. ;) -What! Really? No way! :P -The only two I really give a rats behind about, well other than Green Ronin. I do like Freeport! :D Well and Necromancer, and Monte Cook's deal. ![]() 18DELTA ;) |
| #8lord_karsusAug 05, 2008 12:58:18 | -Pssh, who needs you guys? I did my own research, and got my own answer. It is, but technically, it isn't. |
| #9rinonalyrna_fathomlinAug 05, 2008 14:29:24 | -Pssh, who needs you guys? I did my own research, and got my own answer. It is, but technically, it isn't. LOL, care to explain? |
| #10lord_karsusAug 05, 2008 14:59:03 | LOL, care to explain? -I asked the "dream team" over there if WotC ran GenCon. They didn't answer, so I looked it up on my own. It was purchased by TSR, and then, by proxy, WotC, and Hasbro. A former higher level employee of WotC (the creator, actually) purchased the naming rights and everything for GenCon, and he technically "owns" it now. |
| #11rinonalyrna_fathomlinAug 05, 2008 15:00:15 | Oops, I thought we were talking about when the FRCG comes out.:embarrass |
| #12mackay88Aug 05, 2008 15:08:07 | Hmm. For once, we in the UK aren't getting a delayed release. Amazon.co.uk has it set for August 19th. Huzzah! |
| #13lord_karsusAug 05, 2008 15:11:04 | Oops, I thought we were talking about when the FRCG comes out.:embarrass -No, no. Although, it'd be interesting if the FRCG was coming out, but wasn't. Paradoxical. |
