I only ever read the first two books in the series. I’m thinking about picking the series back up (I own all but two of the books) but I have a pretty big unread pile to get through.
When I think of the series, the one thing I remember is one of the characters having the ability to draw on his own life force(?) to keep fighting past the limits of normal endurance. I thought that was actually pretty cool.
