#1 ninjakangaroorat_dup Aug 14, 2008 12:37:00	Since many people have the 4th Ed FRCS, I was hoping I could get some questions answered regarding chult: 1) What happened to Mezro, why is it in ruins? 2) What happened to Ubtao? He was / is a GREATER DIETY and doesn't seem to be mentioned at all in 4th ed?? 3) What happened to the Peaks of flame / Dendar the Night Serpent ? I hear he is an aspect of Set now, but with Ubtao gone, what is keeping him in check? 4) Does all this have something to do with Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir, I have heard that parts of it will be taking place in Chult. Any insight any of you may have would be VERY helpful!

Did you read the free excerpt on Chult from not too far back? It gives some detail. 2) What happened to Ubtao? He was / is a GREATER DIETY and doesn't seem to be mentioned at all in 4th ed?? Rich has said that if a deity isn't listed in the FRCG, it's safe to say they are no longer a deity worshipped in the Realms, for whatever reason. As for want actually happened to him? If that's in the FRCG, someone with that book will have to give the details. 4) Does all this have something to do with Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir, I have heard that parts of it will be taking place in Chult. I doubt we will get the answer until that game comes out. Generally, games aren't "canon", but who knows what happened in this case, with the game being made at the same time the setting was being revised.
