#3 StevenO Feb 11, 2009 13:44:26	It all depends on how the city would react. I would also ask half-dragon/half-what? A half dragon human may be able to get it pretty easily but that half-dragon ogre is going to have a harder time. This is really a variable topic.

#9 salivan_bridge Feb 12, 2009 3:18:43	well..the player that plays the human half red dragon is newbie but he wanted to be that so let him be. I ve alerted him that this isnt very easy. He is a fighter dragon shaman(1/3) and in the party is only a ninja 7 yet. Also i think that disguising this dragon has a great dc..
#10 mesinock Feb 12, 2009 10:03:24	This would depend upon what the alert level is of the city guard. If they have no reason to be on a high alert status, the disguise for the half dragon may be as simple as pulling up the hood on his cloak and throwing a sack of "obvious" market goods on his shoulder. If at a glance he doesn't look like a threat, and the guards are out simpling to "keep the peace" they wouldn't have a reason to give him a second look. If that is case I would rule that the guards take a -2 or -4 on their spot check against the half dragon's disguise due to a general lack of vigilance for not being in a high state of alert. After that as long the character doesn't do anything to draw exceptional attention to himself and keep his head down, so speak, he may very weill be able to move about the city as he pleases. Some times you (as a DM) have to make judgement calls like this, insead of just following the "rules" to the letter.

#15 magodesky Feb 16, 2009 20:33:04	I never looked too much at the half-dragons in 3rd edition, but would this really be that big of a deal in a place that already tolerates half-orcs, tieflings, and even kobolds (if you're willing to accept Neverwinter Nights continuity)? Heck, depending on the timeframe, Faerun could also be filled with dragonborn, who are basically just like half-dragons. Not to say that people wouldn't be suspicious, but would they really have that sort of immediate "Kill the monster!" reaction?
