Where is Clangeddin Silverbeard?

Jul 01, 2008 16:15:20 Hi there,

I'm new to 3.5 and I'm wondering where in that rules set I can find the information for the Dwarven god Clangeddin Silverbeard? I want to create a dwarven cleric with the war domain. There is some crazy god of war mentioned in Race of Stone, but that's not what I want. Can someone throw me a bone?

-If you want it in 3e terms, you want Faiths and Pantheons. Would you like his portfolios, being as F&P has no information not in Demihuman Deities?

Jul 01, 2008 21:53:25 Technically, Faiths and Pantheons is a 3.0 product, but is still very relevant in the 3.5 era. Clangeddin Silverbeard can be found on page 116 (at least in my copy hehe).

Jul 02, 2008 9:10:18 In short: Faiths and Pantheons does not add anything relevant to the info found on Demihuman Deities. There aren't any prestige classes, substitution levels, initiate feats or similar for ol'Clang, aren't them? I only recall those substitution levels of those followers of Clangeddin and Selûne that fought lycanthropes in Champions of Valor , but I wouldn't consider them an iconic feature for him.

Jul 02, 2008 14:07:55 Just give him levels in the Warpriest prestige class and play the cleric by the god's portfolio. War priest archetypes come naturally to people. And maybe consider playing in 4E.

Portfolios: Battle, war, valor, bravery, honor in battle
Domains: Dwarf, good, law, strength, war
