My best friend and I are looking for more poeple who would be interested in playing D&D 3.5. We are planning on doing it through skype using the add-on idroo. Heroforge/Spellforge is a must as well. We downloaded an addon for skype that is a dice rolling chat bot. My best friend (The DM) has downloaded several maps that he can paste into IDROO and we will be able to use figures to display our characters and the monsters. I'm really looking forward to trying it out with a real group of people. If your interested all you need is a microphone. Download skype, idroo,heroforge/spellforge and your good to go. Ya my room mate actually is the DM and he did almost all the website by himself. He is really wanting to give it a try we just need a couple people other then myself to play. I think it will be a blast.. i really cant wait i already got my level 5 monk written up and everything.

May 17, 2012 12:47:51 My group uses skype for remote players as well. We set up a webcam on a small tripod to point at the map with our figurines and such, so that the remote player can see the action. It works pretty well.
