I'm afraid the age you knew is dead and gone, though remnants of it continue to exist. LK, MT, Rin, and some others have packed their bags (although LK has dropped in a couple times for quick posts) since the board change. Welcome to the Golden Age of LM, Silversword, Nai Calus, sfdragon, Delta, and Pamela (plus many others).

LK went from 36000 posts to around 25000 posts.

The Community Business is the place where they are listening to us about the problems with the forums. Strangely enough Realmslore is not their first port of call. And they are listening. There are threads with links to their "to do" lists. Styles, as far as I know, are on that list (it has been a few days since I last checked).... as are half a dozen things that they are doing that are more to do with the back-end and so, apparently, are not immediately striking. Whether this last thing is to be believed or not is a different question but that does seem to be the situation at this point in time.

Indeed. Puts me in mind of that Tom Hanks made for TV movie where theyre all gamers and start dreesin up. Cant remeber the name of it to save my life, but Hanks ends up goin loopy and really thinks hes a cleric and goes around blessing things, and no ones like dude is nuts! theyre like Wow hes really into character.

Mazes & Monsters! Thats it!!! I thought it was one of those movies that was sooo bad that it was funny, but i could see an update doing it some justice. Of course then you would have parents seein the movie goin you kids are never playin D&D again! It makes you crazy!

I feel determined. Getting some revitalization from reading a mix of old realmslore novels and new fantasy novelists.
Occasionally I try my hand at explaining some of the mess of the remaining realmslore as usual.
I am much the same as Suin with respect to the Realms. I am looking at what we had, what we have now and then what can be forged from the remnants of each. A daunting task but better, for me, than letting it fall into silence and shadow here. Sadly I haven't had much time up until the last few days as I got married a fortnight ago and have submitted my doctoral thesis for examination recently too.
