1387 Year of the Emerald Ermine

-The Church of Shar suffers major reversals as a result of the actions of the Company of the Platinum Eye and a group of adventurers in Tethyr. Shar lacks the necessary power to take over Sembia.

Actualy I am in the group that is directly opposeing the Shades in Sembia.( My character(who is Sembia) who is leading the charge there sorta speak.) Though do you want to mirror Mike's game or have it loosely based on Mike's FRs? I could fill you in on some details.....

Also I love this...it is very well done. I would be happy to help you in anyway.

I would say that unless the details are salient to the changes between 3E and 4E Realms, the details aren't that important. This post isn't about our games, after all, not really; it's for everyone else who's here to maybe read some ideas and get inspired and post their own or their own changes or what have you. I don't want to mirror msatran's game (at least not on this board; privately, sure) so much as present the posters here with a common resource we can build on as suggestions for change to the Realms to fit everyone's tastes.

Aug 29, 2008 0:53:50 I've been a player in Michael Satran (msatran)'s Forgotten Realms campaign since...let's see...1988? The characters listed in the above timeline are all (mostly) from his first group/game. Raisha Djenispol is one of his oldest characters. I still play in his games (well, at least one), and it was through his game that I met the man who is my partner at the Gamer's Gambit (the game store I own half of). I also play with johnkretzer, who is also part of the campaign world.

Needless to say, Mike and I have some...disagreements over 4th edition. But the above timeline is an alternate future history of his game...I asked his permission and everything, and he's going to be playing in the game I am running based on it. Going to try to teach him to like 4E just a little bit. I'm considering naming one of the adversaries Ri'Ch Ardbakker, just so he can stop him. :D
