| #2kapncarlDec 08, 2010 12:28:15 | As far as I can tell, critical hits only occur on a natural 20 with the rules and cards that have been published so far. A couple of alpha mutations can produce an automatic critical hit on a successful overcharge roll (Reflexive Teleport and Redirection). Otherwise, I haven't been able to find anything that affects the critical hit range. In looking at this, I realized for the first time that the critical hit rule in GW is different than the normal 4e rule. In 4e a nautral 20 is only a crit if the roll is high enough to hit normally. If you needed to roll higher than a 20 to hit, then a natural 20 is an automatic normal hit, but not a crit. In GW, all natural 20's are crits, whether or not you would normally hit with a 20. Could be bloody. |
