Gamma Terra is a violent, dangerous place. Please, let us use this thread to remember the heroes who have fallen in the name of protecting the weak, defeating oppressors, and salvaging the shiny. When a GW character dies, please leave a small memorial to them here, so that their deeds may not be forgotten.

Tonkatron - Giant Magnetic
Tonkatron was a sentient magnetic force that collected various metal bits into a roughly human-shaped form.  He was constantly seeking new pieces to add to his structure, as his strength was mighty, but his constitution was rather frail.

Tonkatron's beginnings are shrouded in mystery, but his end was very clear: he was destroyed by a critical hit from a Yexil bite, in only the second encounter of our first GW session.

I would like to remember Hallmark. He was a Siesmic/Rat swarm with a 3 constitution. He looked like a mass of little glass Hallmark figurines. He died on the second encounter as well. He was blown to bits when a car blew up he was hiding behind.

#1 Rip Jason Radioactive Engineered Human. Went in first and was beaten to death by robots while the rest of the group stood in the other room.

#2 Rip Speedy Speedster Radioactive. Went across the map into a group of 5 brubbas thinking that his new AOE omega would kill them. Fell for the brubba sires gambit, was knocked prone and bloodied. I only had two of the four brubba runts attack him, but that was enough to take him from bloodied to death.(all the way to negative bloodied)

Rest in Peace - Phallacious Dicksmasher, Doppleganger Seismic.

He was a hyperdimensional golem possessing the durability of a graham cracker, Con 3. Killed by a flock of blood birds in the very first encounter of the very first gaming session. He got knocked down and couldn't get out of the blood bird's radiation aura. Now he's left us all to go smash dicks in that sweet nuclear wasteland in the sky.

The rest of the party is still carrying his corpse, they refuse to give it a proper burial. Once already they tried using it as a shield and selling pieces of it for supplies. Very Weekend at Bernie's. :/

I'd like to remember Booya, a Hawkiod, pyrokenitic. He died thinking (we can only assume) that his firey nature would protect him from the burning heat of a laser grid. It didn't.
The rest of the party will never forget their feathered friend or the fried chicken like taste of his fleash.
Seriously, they ate him. I don't know why.

RIP Rock, the Hawkoid/Seismic.
While attempting to determine the attributes of a cutter/bonder the party discovered, Rock tried to grab a passing tumbleweed to attempt to cut/bond it.  Unfortunately the tumbleweed objected, bit his hand off, and attacked the party with its acidic quills.  It should be noted that this was the last time any party member reached for anything without first asking its permission, or shooting at it. While he was the first in the party to die, his canoe lives on.

RIP Meat Slab,the Bovinoid/Defender
Poor unlucky Meat Slab came on the party at just the wrong time... when they were expecting an ambush.  When ordered to stop, he took a step forward, and took a critical to the face from a potato gun.  The tough skinned Meat Slab survived even this blow... however did not have time to heal before the actual ambush of the Puckers- a hockey-themed wasteland gang.  Bold and brazen, the Bovine Bruiser stood and faced the Pucker Enforcer... which lead to him taking a pair of rockets to the chest, ending his career less than 20 minutes after it began.

RIP Mac, the Giant/Hypercognitive
The gentle giant with a love of combat, Mac's time in Gamma Terra was cut short by a team of Puckers.  First injured by their Enforcer, he was high-sticked to death by a hat trick of Pucker minions.

RIP Micky SPelany (felinoid/ speedster) Chettah man under the fedora and leather duster.  Blasted to ashes by radiation beams by those damn gamma moths.

RIP Mick Astly (empathic/ radioactive)  Gamma World pop star, Killed by laser fire from those laser bots of the mad hoop Iron King.

Both are the only kills I had during the Iron King adventure.  I feel like a novice Dm.  I want a TPK.

RIP Rat Faucet, the Rat Swarm Telekinetic furball who dripped sweaty rats. He was posessed by an insane virtual reality rat AI named Jib-Jib, who fused all of his rats to his body, changing his swarm power to plasticity. Jib-Jib then promptly got poor Rat Faucet thrown down a radioactive pit in the very next fight, where he was overwhelmed by the radiation burns and melted.

RIP Proto, the prototype Seismic Android who was addicted to Coke (the soda, not the powder). Like a third of a cat, he had three lives. His first death was prevented by his proximity to an empath, his second by the timely application of the Pause That Refreshes, and his third ... His third was not prevented. He was smashed to bits by rampaging yexils and warbots.

RIP Colonel Cuke, the Plant Doppelganger and his cucumber tree buddy. He was the last mutant standing in the battle against the insane virtual reality video game, but alas, he withered before the onslaught of the brain-in-a-jar and its warbot henchmen. All that's left of him are these seeds...

R.I.P. Hallafax the Cockroach Giant.  He died how he lived.  Covered in his own enormous filth.

Here lies The Nameless One, known by his freinds as "huh?", followed by a shrug. An empathic swarm of hyper-intelligent rats that tasted very good to a Yaxil consumed by blood rage.
