Question = Science checks made to stabilize a dying character.  What's the DC?  13?

Thanks!

The DC doesn't appear to be listed in the rules.  Only that a Science check is used to stabilize.

safe to take it at 10 for second wind and 15 for stabilize, just like in 4e.

That makes good sense to me. As much as I want GW to stand completely on its own, shoring it up with 4E works out well.

Heh, I never noticed they forgot to define it. Not that it matters for my group, since we just use standard 4E rules for most everything anyway, including actions not defined in GW.

There is no check at all for triggering an ally's second wind, it's just a standard action.  ("Hey, get up, we're still fight'n here!" :kick: :kick

As for the Science check to stabilize, GW is pretty vague on DCs.  15+ the level of the monster that dropped you wouldn't be unfair.  15 is a 'moderate' difficulty at 1st level.

I wouldn't be surprised if we find out the answer to this (and other questions) soon. I wouldn't be surprised if Famine in Far-Go got delayed so WotC could add some errata to the rulebook.

I would be suprised if Famine in Fargo wasn't at the printers before GW hit the shelves.  Maybe the slow boat from China turned out to be even slower than expected, or maybe the printer accidentally put 'Grammar World' on the cover...
