| #1SerpineDec 13, 2010 15:57:18 | I've seen several people on the forum state that the new GW product line stops after LoG, except for a second novel. I've been wondering where this comes from: Has this ever been officially stated by somebody from WotC? I've usually assumed the first 3 (4 if you count boosters) products would determine sales fitness and they would go from there, since pre-canceling something would seem to be an odd publishing approach. But the "and that's it" concept is stated often enough I've started wondering what has actually been said by the company on the matter. |

I think it's mostly conjecture based on the fact that only the three products (plus boosters and novels) have ever been spoken about, and that it's marketed as a "4e campaign setting" which traditionally have been 3 books and they're done. |

Reviewers describe GW as a "beer and pretzel game" good for one time shots. Given that it is a setting that isn't seeing the same level of dedication to detail as other 4e campaign settings, think it is a strong indicator that WotC isn't putting much stock in its future beyond LoG. Hope I'm wrong, but all signs point towards endsville at present. |

If the game is popular and sells well, and the GW community continues to grow we will see new GW products Christmas 2011. Regardless our group will be playing this game for years to come, we really like it. |
